Rob Verdeyen – Certificate in Bible, YWAM School of Biblical Studies – Entering his thirteenth year as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Corvallis, Rob brings to the School a depth of insight. Having been tried and tested in the ministry he has seen God’s great faithfulness time and again. Students will greatly benefit from one who has gone before them in life’s experiences. Rob’s Pastoral Discipleship class offers a venue for the students to be mentored in the joys, challenges, and key biblical emphases in ministry, as well ask the difficult questions about which they’ve always wondered.
Various guest speakers make their way to Cornerstone each term in the Lectures in Ministry course. These faithful men and women have a vast array of life and ministry experience from overseas missionaries home on furlow, to church planters in the Pacific Northwest, to pastors of churches in the community, to mothers joyfully living for Christ as homemakers, to businessmen and -women. In these times the students are able to connect with someone outside the classroom context in areas they may be sensing God is taking them.
